Romsey, Main Street - tree removal works

Four trees on Main Street in Romsey will be removed in early December after inspections confirmed they are declining and likely affected by Ash Dieback, a fungal disease that impacts ageing ash trees.

The trees to be removed are located:

• on the east side of Main Street, near the corner of Murphy Street
• on the west side of Main Street, near IGA car park
• on the east side of Main Street, near the corner of Stawell Street
• on the east side of Main Street, near the Romsey Hub.

Replacement trees will be planted at a later date.
