Engineering assessments may be required for some planning applications. They look at things like drainage, flooding, roads, traffic, parking, lighting, and other infrastructure.
Submit the above form along with any supporting documentation such as drainage plans and computations for stormwater drainage or other civil infrastructure works, which we will need to review and approve.
This application covers all the private assets required under the planning permit, such as private drainage assets with an Onsite Detention System, car parks, etc.
An engineering plan submission for an infill development includes:
- detailed drainage engineering plans
- drainage computations
- storm rating report or MUSIC report – if applicable
- Onsite Stormwater Detention (OSD) system calculations (OSD Design Guideline) - if applicable
- maintenance plan – if applicable
- drainage catchment plans and calculations – if applicable
- car parking plans
From 1 July 2024, fees will be applied for the assessment of all stormwater drainage works or other civil infrastructure works related to the relevant planning permit requirements.
