Judging and prizes

Competition entries will be shortlisted by a panel of staff from the Resource Recovery team with final winners judged by a panel of Councillors in the month of July.

Minimum of three winners from each age/learner group (early learning, primary and secondary) will win a waste warrior starter kit to take home as well as having their artwork featured on a Council waste collection truck.

The early learning centre or school from which the winners are from, will win a delivery of organic compost for their gardens.

Each entrant will have the chance to have their artwork used in ongoing waste education campaigns.

Council will contact the school or early learning centre directly to notify the winners. Winners will be invited to a photo opportunity.
