Home support

We provide a range of services designed to support you, or the person you care for, to stay active and independent and living at home for as long as possible. In-home assistance is aimed at maintaining a safe, secure, healthy home environment that enables frail aged and people with a disability to live independently.

Services provided are domestic assistance, meals, personal care, and shopping assistance.

Domestic assistance

Our carers will work with you to do a range of household tasks to keep your home clean and safe.

Shopping assistance

Our carers can travel with you and help with general needs such as shopping, banking, and paying bills.

Home maintenance

We can help with the cost of home and garden maintenance such as mowing, wood stacking, gutter cleaning and minor repairs. The way this service is provided changed on 1 July 2018, for more information, see Home Maintenance Service Changes

Personal care assistance

Our carers will work with you to manage personal tasks including having a shower safely or help getting dressed.

Respite care

We provide a variety of respite services to older people and their carers, to help them remain living at home and in their community with safety, dignity, and an acceptable quality of life.

Home support volunteers play a vital role in our community. For information about becoming a volunteer, see: Volunteers.
