Building rubbish and asbestos

Our resource recovery facilities can accept small household quantities of building waste but the following items are not accepted.

Asbestos

Small quantities can be disposed of at our Romsey resource recovery facility Safe Asbestos Disposal Point.

For larger quantities, find a removalist at Asbestos in Victoria

  • Liquid waste and fuels
  • Chemicals
  • Paints
  • Medical waste
  • Vegetable/cooking oil
  • Dead animals—contact your local Vet
  • Soil/dirt
