Be part of the shire-wide, family-friendly Changemakers Macedon Ranges Festival from 21 March to 4 April 2026.

Opening with the Riddells Creek Enviro-Energy Expo on Saturday 21 March, the festival is a fortnight of interactive, practical and thought-provoking climate and sustainability events – all free, all family friendly.

Across the two weeks, ChangeMakers will bring people together to learn and take action through inspiring workshops, locals teaching locals info sessions, author talks, film screenings and, of course, Eco Story & Rhyme Times in local libraries.

Whether you’re curious about electrifying your home, keen to grow more of your own food, getting crafty in the name of sustainability, or just get some quiet time in nature, the festival will offer something for every interest and experience level.

The program of events will be available soon.

Buy local at a farmer's market

Nearly every weekend in the Macedon Ranges there is a farmers market on.

Buying from your local farmers market helps reduce your carbon footprint by cutting down on food transportation and supports local, eco-friendly farms.
