Macedon Ranges Shire Council’s public facilities will be closed from 11:59pm Thursday 15 July until 11:59pm on Tuesday 27 July following the announcement by the State Government of a lockdown. Events, non-essential bookings and in-person community consultations will be also be cancelled during this time.

Kyneton Museum is located in historic Piper Street in Kyneton. With changing exhibitions and a collection housed in a National Trust building that was built in 1856 as a Bank of New South Wales. Collection items include a range of horse carriages, farming equipment and rare objects from yesteryear.
Kyneton Town Hall (KTH) is home to the Macedon Ranges Shire Council's Arts & Culture Performance Season. Presenting music, cabarets, kids shows, comedy and contemporary Australian drama, there is something for everyone at KTH.
