Escape the Vape

The 'Escape the Vape' campaign aims to reduce and prevent vaping amongst young people in the Macedon Ranges.

Driven by a youth-led, community-based video campaign, built around real stories from peers who would like to share their experiences with vaping as a young person — amplified through high schools, community groups, and digital platforms.

Sharmaine's story

Published in mid-May 2026, in partnership with Macedon Ranges Shire Council and Macedon Ranges Health, this powerful video features an honest first-hand experience of vaping from a young person in the Macedon Ranges, as well as expert and industry insights on the health effects of vaping.
