The Fire Danger Period for the Macedon Ranges Shire started at 1am on Monday 9 January 2023. Burning off is not allowed during this time. You can dispose of green waste for free at transfer stations.

Community Funding Scheme

An annual grants program that assists not-for-profit community groups in completing projects within the Macedon Ranges.

Events and Festivals Grant Program

Find out about our dedicated grant program for groups and organisations seeking funds and other support for events and festivals.

Council a pleased to be able to offer resources to help community members be more successful in their grant seeking.

Small Project Grants

Not-for-profit community groups can apply for a small project grant to help with programs and initiatives that benefit residents of the Macedon Ranges Shire.
