The Fire Danger Period is declared by the CFA, not Council.
The dates vary from year-to-year, and for each shire area. We’ll publish the dates on this page as soon as we know.

About the Fire Danger Period
When the CFA declares a Fire Danger Period, no fire may be lit in the open air without a permit.
