The Fire Danger Period for Macedon Ranges Shire started at 1am on Monday 17 November until further notice. During this time, no fire may be lit in the open air without a permit.

A section of concrete footpath on Park Street in Lancefield, from High Street to the car park at Lancefield Primary School, will be upgraded soon.
Council’s Footpath Renewal Program focuses on replacing and/or upgrading existing footpath and shared paths to enhance safety and accessibility.
Locations are prioritised based on condition assessments and inspections.
As part of the program, existing asphalt and brick footpaths are upgraded to concrete where possible.
