The Fire Danger Period for Macedon Ranges Shire started at 1am on Monday 17 November until further notice. During this time, no fire may be lit in the open air without a permit.

The Woodend Golf Club public toilet block has been identified as a priority for renewal due to roof sheet deterioration, active water leaks and general facility deterioration. Further inspections revealed additional wear, prompting the need for a comprehensive internal upgrade.
The project will deliver a full roof replacement, internal upgrades, and refurbishments.
The improved facility will continue to serve both club members and the wider community.
