Stephen Street, Riddells Creek footpath

A new footpath is planned to be constructed to connect existing missing link on western side of Stephen Street, between Hamilton Street and Sutherlands Road in Riddells Creek.

The project will deliver: 

• approximate 95 metres of new, 1.5-metre-wide concrete footpath 
• pram ramps on both sides of Sutherlands Road for improved accessibility connecting the existing footpath network

Once complete, this upgrade will create a continuous walking connection in the area, benefiting pedestrians of all ages and abilities.

This project is funded by Council’s 2025/26 Capital Work Program.

The project is currently in design and construction dates will be published once the works are awarded.

Minor delays are expected during the works. Please allow extra time if travelling in the area.
