Romsey, Main Street - Footpath Renewal Works

As part of footpath renewal works, the existing asphalt footpath has been replaced with a new 1.5 metre wide concrete footpath on the east side of Main Street, between Barry Street and McIntosh Terrace.

The works included minor drainage improvements and kerb and channel works at the intersection.

The project commenced in late February 2026 and was completed on 20 March 2026. 

We would like to thank residents, businesses and road users for their patience as works were being completed.
