Malmsbury Botanic Gardens

Announcement

The Friends of Malmsbury Gardens and Environs, supported by Council, has been awarded a Victorian Government grant (Restoring Community War Memorials & Avenues of Honour grants) to help restore the war memorial at the entrance to the Gardens (corner of Mollison St and Ellesmere Pl).
These works are expected to run through until mid-November. Access will be via Ellesmere Pl during this time.

Malmsbury Botanic Gardens-poplars

Established in the 1850s, these gardens are one of Victoria’s earliest regional botanic gardens, encompassing a wonderful collection of trees and shrubs.

The central focal point of the gardens is the ornamental lake with the formed island at its centre.

Dogs must be on leash at all times unless in a designated off leash area. You must pick up and dispose of your dog’s waste in a bin. Dogs must be under effective control and never left unattended.
