Malmsbury, Malmsbury Botanical Gardens - Drainage

The project is located in the Malmsbury Botanic Gardens.

The project is to fix the drainage issue in the waterlogged areas in the gardens, and improve the drainage outlet from the basin inside the Botanic Gardens. 

The project includes: 

  • Installation of culvert crossings at the waterlogged area on the path for improved drainage and pedestrian safety.  
  • Reshaping of swale drain for drainage improvements.  
  • Installation of culverts at outlet for improved discharge from the basin. 

These works are funded under the Council’s Capital Works program 2024-25. 

The project is currently at procurement stage and the construction dates will be published here closer to the start date.
