Woodend - Glenns Court - Drainage Works
This project was initiated to address a flooding concern at the court bowl in Glenns Court, Woodend.
When there is a down pour, a significant amount of water enters the properties via their driveways.
The proposed drainage mitigation works involved upgrading underground drainage, reshaping the road surface, kerb and channel, table drains and improvements to the property driveways to redirect surface flows away from properties onto the table drains in the road reserve.
The works commenced at the beginning of June and are expected to be completed by end of August 2025, weather permitting.
The project is funded by Council's Capital Works Program 2024-25.
