Hanging Rock Reserve will not be open for general public access from 27 to 29 March. On Friday 27 March 2026, Hanging Rock Reserve will be closed while crews set up temporary infrastructure for the Lost Trades Fair.
Tickets must be purchased online prior to arrival (available until sold out). There are no tickets available at the gate. You must have a valid ticket to enter the site. If you do not have a ticket to the Fair, please plan to visit the reserve on another day.
Increased traffic is expected in and around Hanging Rock across the weekend. If you are not attending the event, please avoid the area where possible.
Public entry to Hanging Rock Reserve is not available unless you have a valid event ticket. Tickets include entry to the car parking onsite, however using the free shuttle bus is encouraged to help reduce congestion.
A free shuttle bus will operate from Woodend Train Station for ticket holders. Simply show your event ticket to the bus driver to board.
