Occupational Therapy Information Session

Council is partnering with Omnia Community Health to host an Occupational Therapy Information Session for community members interested in learning how occupational therapy can support independent living at home.

This session provides an opportunity to speak directly with a local Occupational Therapist, ask questions, and gain a clearer understanding of how occupational therapists assess individual needs and recommend, approve and organise suitable aids and equipment. Attendees will also be able to view practical, real-life demonstrations of assistive equipment provided by Country Care.

The session is suitable for older residents, carers and family members seeking information about home safety, mobility, and support options.
