Local creatives and puppetry wizards, Hamish Fletcher and Tamara Rewse (Things of Foam & Wood) are taking over the Bluestone Theatre for the first stage of creative development of their innovative new bilingual stage work: Mamma, Yokai!

For this first development, Tamara and Hamish have invited artists from Osaka-based theatre company, KIO, to collaborate with them as part of a cross-cultural artistic exchange – and you can join in the fun too! For one afternoon only, the team will be throwing open the doors, handing out cups of tea and inviting you into the magic and mess of the creative process. Meet the artists, see puppets come to life, and get to know the yokai lurking within.

Free entry, bookings required. Open to all ages.
