Council is a funded supplier of Meals at Centre through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme. Through the Meals at Centre funding, Council subsidises a portion of the cost of providing meals to people aged 65 years and over who are registered with My Aged Care, enabling the meal to be provided at a lower cost to participants. This currently provided to:
- Kyneton Community Lunch
- Woodend Community Lunch
- Romsey/Lancefield Community Lunch
- Kyneton Senior Citizens
- Macedon Senior Citizens
- Riddells Creek Senior Citizens
- Sunbury Cobaw Social Support Group
Council also provides meal preparation support in the home as well as shopping support.

As of 1 January 2021, Macedon Ranges Shire Council is no longer a Commonwealth Home Support Programme provider of delivered meals (meals on wheels). If you would like information about alternative options available, please call My Aged Care on 1800 200 422 or for more information (03) 5422 0333.
Our community connection workers can help you to prepare meals at home by assisting with basic food preparation, such as peeling and chopping vegetables.

Kyneton Caring Community and Romsey Neighbourhood House, are sharing food via a food bank.
