Events and Festivals Grant Program
Events and festivals provide significant social and economic benefits for the shire. In recognition of the positive outcomes for the community and business, Council runs an annual Events and Festivals Grant Program.
The program has three different tiers to enable all events and festivals to apply, depending on size, focus and complexity.
Applications for the 2026-27 program closed on 3 May 2026.

2026/27 Recipients
Council received 15 applications requesting a total of $124,000 plus in-kind support. With an annual budget of $75,000 and a portion already committed to multi-year agreements, $54,000 remained available for distribution in this year's round of funding. Officers recommended 10 applications for funding and 3 existing triennial agreements.
In kind support was also recommended, including services and venue hire valued at just over $13,500 and fee waivers for traffic management approvals for four additional events.
