Romsey, Intersection Upgrade Works - William Street & Murphy Street

Our intersection upgrade program focuses on safety improvements, while also reducing ongoing maintenance due to wear and tear from vehicles at various intersections and court bowls.

Locations are prioritised based on routine inspections and condition assessments.

Works are planned at the intersection of William Street & Murphy Street, Romsey in this financial year (2025-26).

Construction dates are currently being confirmed and will be published here once finalised.

Traffic management will be in place during construction to ensure the safety of road users and workers. Minor delays are expected, and road users are advised to allow extra travel time when passing through the area.

Council thanks residents, businesses, and road users for their patience and cooperation while these works are completed.
