The Fire Danger Period for Macedon Ranges Shire started at 1am on Monday 17 November until further notice. During this time, no fire may be lit in the open air without a permit.

The existing carpet within the library is in poor condition and will be replaced by cushioned carpet tiles, improving the comfort and aesthetics of the internal spaces.
Subject to site availability, it is expected that these works are completed by January 2026.
