The Chief Executive Officer has called an Unscheduled Council Meeting to elect a Mayor on Tuesday 4 August 2026 from 12:30pm.
The meeting will be held in person at the Gisborne Administration Centre and livestreamed.
This meeting is being held in accordance with requirements of the Local Government Act 2020 and Council’s Governance Rules following a vacancy in the office of Mayor.
Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting in person or view the livestream online.
