Visitor Information Centre Volunteers

Are you passionate about the Macedon Ranges? Do you enjoy meeting people and sharing our local wonders with others?

Join us as a volunteer at the Woodend and Kyneton Visitor Information Centres, where you can be a welcoming face to our beautiful region.

Our team currently has over 35 dedicated volunteers who play a pivotal role in our team, responding to visitor enquiries both face-to-face and over the telephone. They provide detailed information about the region and its surroundings, ensuring every visitor has an unforgettable experience.

We offer comprehensive in-house training to make you feel prepared and confident in your role. From familiarisation tours to information sessions, and even social outings and events, you'll have the knowledge and expertise needed to guide and inform our visitors.

The role requires a minimum commitment of just two shifts per month, each lasting three hours. Woodend welcomes visitors seven days a week, from 10am to 4pm, offering you a variety of options to fit your schedule. Kyneton is open Friday through Sunday, from 10am to 4pm, providing the perfect weekend opportunity to share your love for our community.

Please apply now through our volunteer portal to join us in showcasing the Macedon Ranges and become a valued part of our team.
