The Kyneton Town Hall is the premier performance space in the Macedon Ranges and hosts multiple events throughout the year as part of Council's performance season

Commercial / Performance rate

  • Venue hire first five hours, including FOH Supervisor and up to 6 x FOH Staff: $2,420
  • Additional hours: $147 per hour

Additional charges 

  • Seating Bank configuration change: $732
  • Piano hire and tune: $440
  • Usher per hour: $71.40
  • Technician per hour: $86
  • Kitchen facilities hire (per day): $463.10

Ticketing fees and charges

Ticketing is managed by Macedon Ranges Shire Council's Box Office. 

  • Ticketing / booking fee: $3 per ticket sold (commercial rate)
  • Ticketing / booking fee: $2 per complimentary ticket (max 10)
  • Administration fee: 3.5% of gross total ticket sales

All fees include GST.

Foyer bar

The Foyer Bar is managed exclusively by Macedon Ranges Shire Council and operates under a Limited Liquor License.

Macedon Ranges Shire Council is proud to stock drinks and refreshments sourced exclusively from local or regional producers. Showcasing the best of the region, the bar celebrates local craftsmanship, supports regional businesses, and connects visitors with the unique flavours and stories of local makers.

Please note that the bar is a cashless operation. BYO alcohol is not permitted for any event held at Kyneton Town Hall. 

 

Accessibility

Mobility access

Kyneton Town Hall has wheelchair accessible seating available for all ticketed events.

Access to the venue includes a ramp at the front of the venue and an internal lift for accessing balcony seats.

There are 3 accessible parking spots in the public carpark at the rear of the venue. The distance between the rear carpark and the front entrance of the venue is approximately 65 metres via paved footpath.

The hall is not currently able to support wheelchair access backstage. 

Deaf or Hard of Hearing access

Kyneton Town Hall has an Infra Red (IR) Hearing Assistance system available to patrons on request.

The venue is not currently able to support closed caption displays for live performance. 

Blind or vision impaired access

Kyneton Town Hall has dedicated seats available for people who are blind or have low vision, and their companions.

Bathroom access

There are accessible bathrooms on both the ground floor and balcony level of the venue. Bathrooms on the balcony level are accessible via the lift. 

Parking

Parking 

Parking at Kyneton Town Hall is free, with all day parking available at the rear of the venue, including 3 accessible parking spots.

This carpark has limited availability on weekdays.

On-street parking is available in Hutton Street and other nearby streets, as sign posted. Electric vehicle charging stations are also located in the carpark at the rear of the venue. 

Drop off / pick up points

To assist patrons, a three minute drop off and pick up point is located on Hutton Street, near the corner of Mollison Street.
