Join the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow as it journeys around Australia, delivering hot and tasty comic treats to audiences near and far. With a curated line-up of comedy legends and fresh faces from Australia and beyond, the Roadshow has all your comedy bases covered (no joke) – all in one side-splitting show!
For almost three decades the Melbourne International Comedy Festival has been touring far and wide, bringing giggles, guffaws and good times to Australia – and now it’s your turn Kyneton.
Experience the fun of Australia’s largest comedy festival in your own backyard. Grab your mates and get on board the Roadshow.
The performance will feature up to 5 artists including a MC. Running time is 2hr 15 minutes including a 20-minute interval.
Cast announced
Tim Hewitt (Host)
Tim Hewitt is a regular on the festival circuit and a staple of the Melbourne bar comedy scene. Resident host of cult comedy show ‘Crab Lab’, and notorious satirical sketch show ‘Big Hewy's Footy Show’.
His blend of character and observational comedy has seen him be handpicked for Melbourne Comedy Festival’s ‘The Comedy Zone’, MICF Roadshow and Splendour In The Grass. Tim is the Cohost of the ‘Feed Em Brah’ podcast, a regular guest on the ‘Grade Cricketer’ podcast and many more.
Grace Jarvis
Grace Jarvis is a stand-up comedian and writer. A rising star of Australian comedy scene and now making waves in the UK, Grace was named one of Rolling Stone’s “12 Must-See Comedy Shows” at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2025. She’s recently appeared on Comedy Up Late and MICF Upfront (2024), and performed support spots for Josh Thomas on a UK tour, and an Aunty Donna show in London at The Apollo.
She appears regularly on several podcasts and web shows such as Gamey Gamey Game, Don’t You Know Who I Am with Josh Earl, Trash Future, Wax Quizzical with Kyran Wheatley, What the Flick and bigsofttitty.png with Demi Lardner & Tom Walker. She has been published in Junkee, The Feed SBS and The Age.
Matt Stewart
Matt Stewart is an award-winning Melbourne-based comedian and podcast host. After winning RAW Comedy in 2014, his stand-up career has gone from strength to strength, playing to sell-out crowds across Australia and the UK.
He is one third of the AACTA-nominated podcast Do Go On, hosts the popular spin-off podcast Who Knew It with Matt Stewart, and the award-winning TV show The Beer Pioneer. His latest stand-up special Best Man is available to watch now.
Scout Boxall
Scout Boxall is one of the most exciting new talents in Australian comedy. Their award-winning work swings between sharp stand up and manic, chaotic powerpoint comedy.
Scout's been smashing it lately with regular appearances on The Weekly with Charlie Pickering (ABC), Austin (ABC), The Gala and Comedy Up Late.
William Wang
William Wang is a first-generation immigrant to Australia, born and raised in China. Since starting stand-up comedy in 2018, he has become a regular on the Australian comedy circuit, performing at top venues like Comic’s Lounge, Basement Comedy, Republic Comedy, and Comedy Lounge. He has also made a mark at major comedy festivals and fringes across the country.
Known for his sharp observational humor and distinctive delivery, William brings a fresh perspective to the stage. His comedy is clean yet occasionally edgy, blending quirkiness with confident on stage. Drawing from his immigrant experience, he hilariously unpacks cultural differences, everyday struggles, and the absurdities of life in Australia.
