The bitumen resurfacing program is a renewal program for Council-managed sealed roads, which aims to improve the existing road surface.
Council implements the bitumen resurfacing program by resealing or asphalt overlays.
The existing sealed surface has been resealed in this program by using spray seal, where aggregates are spread over a thin layer of bitumen to improve the road surface.
The following roads across the shire were scheduled for resealing as part of the 2025/2026 financial year program and were delivered in early April 2026.
