The Fire Danger Period for Macedon Ranges Shire started at 1am on Monday 17 November until further notice. During this time, no fire may be lit in the open air without a permit.

Drainage improvement works will begin next week on Barringo Road, New Gisborne at the northern end of the Macedon Ranges Sports Precinct.
The works will also affect sections of the walking path on the east (oval) side of the precinct.
Minor traffic delays are expected while works are underway.
Please slow down and take care when travelling in the area.
