The following sections of brick footpath on Robertson Street in Gisborne have been upgraded to concrete:

• from the south-east corner at intersection of Neal Street, and
• the south side of the Robertson Street service road, west of Neal Street.

About the Footpath Renewal Program

Council’s Footpath Renewal Program focuses on replacing and/or upgrading existing footpath and shared paths to enhance safety and accessibility.

Locations are prioritised based on condition assessments and inspections.

As part of the program, existing asphalt and brick footpaths are upgraded to concrete where possible.
