Kyneton, Kyneton-Springhill Road - Upper Coliban Bridge works

Important safety improvements are planned for the Upper Coliban Bridge on Kyneton-Springhill Road, about 6.8km from Trentham Road. 

The improvements include resurfacing the bridge, making the road wider on the eastern side, and adding more signs for safety. We will notify nearby residents and businesses before the construction starts later this year. 

Following a recent bridge inspection, the weight limit for vehicles crossing the bridge will be reduced to 25 tonnes. This means heavy vehicles over this limit can't use the bridge and will need to follow alternate routes marked with signs.  

These works are funded by the 2023/24 Capital Works Program.
