Wednesday 11 February 2026 has been declared an Extreme Fire Danger Day and Total Fire Ban Day by the Country Fire Authority for the Central district, which includes the Macedon Ranges.
The Woodend Golf Club public toilet block was identified as a priority for renewal due to roof sheet deterioration, active water leaks and general facility deterioration.
Further inspections revealed additional wear, prompting the need for a comprehensive internal upgrade.
The project has delivered a full roof replacement, internal upgrades, and refurbishments.
The improved facility will continue to serve both club members and the wider community.
