Riddells Creek, Stephen Street - footpath

A new footpath has been constructed to connect the missing link on the western side of Stephen Street, between Hamilton Street and Sutherlands Road in Riddells Creek.

The project delivered:

• approximate 95 metres of new, 1.5-metre-wide concrete footpath 
• pram ramps on both sides of Sutherlands Road for improved accessibility connecting the existing footpath network

These footpath works were completed on 15 December 2025.

The works have created a continuous walking connection in the area, benefiting pedestrians of all ages and abilities.

This project was funded by Council’s 2025/26 Capital Work Program.

We would like to thank residents, businesses and road users for their patience as works were being completed.
