Gisborne, Aitken Street - Gisborne Botanic Gardens - Footbridge refurb
The footbridge in Jacksons Creek Reserve near the Adventure Playground (next to the Botanic Gardens on Robertson Street) is being refurbished.
The current timber decking and safety mesh has become unsafe and may create trip hazards.
As part of the works, the existing decking and mesh will be removed and replaced with a safer walking surface. Works will also include minor repairs to improve safety and access, including upgrades to bridge approaches and connecting paths.
