Spring Hill, Kyneton-Springhill Road

Road upgrade works on a narrow section of Kyneton-Springhill Road (the main road connection between Kyneton and Spring Hill townships), have now been completed making a safer, smoother journey for all.

The road upgrade starts approx. 600m east of Coliban Downs Road to a distance of 720m eastwards which included road pavement rehabilitation and widening, sealed shoulders, improvements to roadside drainage, traffic signage and property driveway entrances.

A Planning Permit was obtained for the removal of native vegetation to allow for the road construction.

Works commenced at the beginning of April and were completed by mid-May.

This significant road infrastructure improvement project is fully funded by the Australian Governments ‘Roads to Recovery’ Program.
