Gisborne, Mount Gisborne Road - Road Reconstruction

Road reconstruction works on Mount Gisborne Road, Gisborne will be carried out from Runnymede Lane for 1.3km, towards the intersection of Couangalt Road.

The project includes:

  • 1.3km of road pavement rehabilitation from Runnymede Lane towards Couangalt Road
  • roadside drainage improvements

Minor delays are expected during the road construction works. Please allow extra time if travelling in the area.

These works are funded by Local Road and Community Infrastructure Program Phase 4. The works are currently being designed and are expected to commence early 2024.

Project dates will be updated on this page closer to the start of the works.
