Gisborne, Fersfield Road - Road Reconstruction

A section of Fersfield Road, Gisborne will be upgraded, from Morrison Road to Bloomfield Road.

The project includes:

  • Approximately 600m of full road reconstruction (from east of Morrison Road to Bloomfield Road)
  • Installation of concrete kerb and channel
  • Completion of the missing shared path link between Sheedy Road and Morrison Road
  • Improved roadside signage as required

These works are funded through the Australian Government’s Infrastructure Investment Program.

The project is now substantially complete and is on track for full completion by mid-June. 

Some minor traffic delays may still occur during the final stages of the works, so please allow extra time if travelling in the area.
