Municipal Emergency Management Plan

The plan outlines the arrangements for the planning, response and recovery from significant emergencies – such as storms, floods and fires – for our shire.

Produced pursuant to Section 20(1) of the Emergency Management Act 1986.

Municipal Emergency Management Plan Review

Every council in Victoria is required to review the plan every three years.

Council, emergency services and partners all play a role in developing the plan, as organisations that have a huge role to play in emergency management locally.

Submissions closed on 1 October 2023.

The updated plan is pending final endorsement.
