Maria has over 20 years of local government experience, including 17 years at Moonee Valley City Council, and over three years at Macedon Ranges Shire Council. Prior which she worked in not for profit organisations delivering services to children and youth with disability.

A member of the Goldfields Regional Library Corporation Board and Australian Institute of Company Directors, she is skilled in delivering high quality, responsive services to the community, with several industry awards for excellence.

Maria started at Council on 21 March 2022.
