IDAHOBIT is marked each year on the 17 May around the globe and is commemorated as an International Day Against LGBTIQA+ Discrimination.
 
Commemorating IDAHOBIT helps to raise awareness for the work required to combat discrimination and rights violations still experienced by LGBTIQA+ people on a day-to-day basis.
