First Nations Music Afternoon

Next date: Saturday, 17 October 2026 | 02:30 PM to 05:00 PM

Join us on Wurundjeri Country!
Start with a Welcome to Country and be moved by the soul-stirring songs of LEO (Leonie Whyman), a proud Makwarra-Barkindji and Wiradjuri songstress. As a multi-disciplinary artist, LEO currently shines on ABC TV’s Deadloch series and its soundtrack.
Her music, inspired by her spiritual journey and lived experiences as a First Nations woman, takes you on a journey of healing, empowerment, and deep reflection. LEO uses her voice to heal hurting hearts, spark thought, and shine a light on important topics.

Recent performances: The Gathering: WINTERFEAST (TAS) ‘24 & ‘25, Brunswick Music Festival ‘25, Share The Spirit at Sidney Myer Music Bowl ‘24, YIRRAMBOI ‘23.
