Breastfeeding Support Service

The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Service offers breastfeeding support to all mothers in the Macedon Ranges Shire.

Extra support for those mothers experiencing initial difficulties in the early weeks and throughout their breastfeeding experience is offered by experienced lactation consultants at a breastfeeding support session.

The Breastfeeding Support Service does not require an appointment and you can attend at a time that suits you and your baby (when they are ready to feed).

The clinic is open every Tuesday from 1.30pm–4pm at the Woodend Maternal and Child Health Centre, 49 Forest St Woodend (co-located with Cobaw Community Health).

For more information, contact your maternal and child health nurse or call us on (03) 5422 0281.
