Various - Minor road stabilisation program 23-24

This recurring renewal program for the 2023-24 financial year aims to identify, repair and reseal small damaged sections of Council-managed sealed roads across the shire.

These works involve localised treatment of failed road sections, including resealing, to prolong the life of the road while improving safety and amenity.

These works are expected to start in late January 2024 and be completed by mid-February 2024.

Sections along the following roads have been identified for upgrades:

  • Kyneton–Baynton Road, Baynton
  • Couangalt Road, Gisborne
  • Mt Gisborne Road, Gisborne
  • McGeorge Road, Gisborne South
  • Redesdale Road, Kyneton
  • Burke and Wills Track, Lancefield
  • Pyalong Road, Lancefield
  • McBean Avenue, Macedon
  • Kyneton–Metcalfe Rd, Malmsbury
  • Romsey Road, Romsey
  • Spring Hill Road, Tylden
  • Ashbourne Road, Woodend

Minor delays are expected on these roads during these works, with traffic management and detours in place where necessary.
