Romsey, Main Street - Proposed footpath and new bus shelter works

As a part of Local Road and Community Infrastructure Projects (LRCIP) and 2023/24 Council’s Capital Works Program, a new hardstand (bus bay) is being constructed on Main Street road shoulder replacing the existing one in the service lane due to safety concerns raised by community and Department of Transport and Planning (DTP).

The project includes hardstand parking, sheds and a new linking concrete shared footpath.

Works are aimed to be completed during this financial year.
