Guardrail Program - Various Locations

Council installs road safety barriers, more commonly known as guardrails, for road safety. This program focuses on replacing or repairing damaged guardrails to enhance road safety.

Guardrail renewal/replacement works will be carried out on the below roads under this program in the 2024-25 financial year:

• 409-421 Ashbourne Rd, Woodend
• 580-596 Ashbourne Rd, Ashbourne
• 37 Waterfalls Rd, Mount Macedon
• 425-491 Sutherlands Rd, Clarkefield
• 1521-1599 Romsey Rd, Romsey
• 1147-1297 Sidonia Road, Sidonia
• 1028 -1152 Sidonia Road, Sidonia
• 636-664 Lancefield Pyalong Road, Lancefield
• 152-154 Pipers Creek Rd, Kyneton

These works are scheduled to commence in late April 2025 and are expected to be completed by mid-May 2025, weather permitting.

Minor delays are expected during the works. Please allow extra time if travelling in the area.
