Early Years Policy - Staffing Requirement

This policy provides responsibilities for engaging staff at Macedon Ranges Shire Council Early Years Services, including:

  • employing sufficient numbers of educators to meet legislative, policy and service standards
  • employing educators with qualifications and experience which meet legislative, policy and service standards
  • providing appropriate supervision to staff and other adults at the service
  • complying with legislation relating to Working with Children Checks, criminal history record checks and meeting Child Safe Standards.
