Events and Festivals Grant Program
Events and festivals provide significant social and economic benefits for the shire. In recognition of the positive outcomes for the community and business, Council runs an annual Events and Festivals Grant Program.
Applications for the 2024 round open on 29 April 9:00am and close on 26 May at 11:00pm.
The program has three different tiers to enable all events and festivals to apply, depending on size, focus and complexity.

2023/2024 recipients
The assessment panel’s recommendations for the Events & Festivals Grant Program 2022/2024 were presented at the Ordinary Council Meeting on Wednesday 26 July 2023 for Council endorsement.
Applicants to the program will receive a letter with the outcome of their submission.
12 applicants were recommended for funding, which combined with the two triennial agreements of the 2021/2022 program and the 2022/2023 program, were awarded a total of $75,000 in grant funding, and $14,985 equivalent value of in-kind support.
