In celebration of National Tree Day, come for a walk along Jacksons Creek in Gisborne. The site is easily accessed and as we walk, you will learn about different planting techniques and equipment you can use to support your own revegetation project.

This walk will be led by Ammie Jackson - Landcare Facilitator for two Landcare networks, supporting 15 Landcare and Friends of Groups. Ammie has a Diploma in Conservation and Land Management, and has worked on a range of conservation projects since 2005. These roles include revegetation projects, weed control, vegetation assessments and threatened flora monitoring.

Ammie lives in the Macedon Ranges and likes to wear a t-shirt that says "Introverted but willing to discuss plants."

Be aware this is an outside event, so make sure you wear appropriate clothing and footwear, and a minor level of fitness and mobility is required.
