What's it all about?

Calling all LEGO® fans in Prep to Grade 4! Dive into a world of creativity and imagination in this Mining and Crafting themed workshop delivered by the team at BRICKS 4 KIDZ®.

Inspired by the popular Minecraft™ universe, this hands-on session invites children to build their own blocky characters, tools, and structures using LEGO® bricks. From pixelated pickaxes to creepers and crafting tables, kids will explore engineering concepts and strengthen their problem-solving skills through guided model builds and fun challenges.

Designed especially for children in Prep to Grade 4, this morning workshop offers the perfect balance of structured activity and creative play. It's a great way to engage curious minds, encourage collaboration, and explore STEM principles—all while having a blast with bricks!

Whether your child is new to LEGO® or already a master builder, they’re sure to enjoy this fun and interactive building adventure.

Who will be leading the workshop?

The BRICKS 4 KIDZ® model was founded by Michelle Cote in St. Augustine, Florida. In the spring of 2008, Michelle began by offering an after-school Spanish class. At the same time, inspired by her son’s love for LEGO®, she decided to trial a creative science-based LEGO® workshop. While only three children enrolled in the Spanish class, an impressive 35 signed up for the LEGO® workshop – and the BRICKS 4 KIDZ® journey began.

Since then, BRICKS 4 KIDZ® has grown to over 750 locations in 45 countries. The organisation is proudly a Child Safe, Child Friendly provider, with the safety and wellbeing of children as its top priority.

BRICKS 4 KIDZ® Melbourne Northern Suburbs operates as an entrepreneurial team with experienced leadership and a clear mission: to become the preferred external provider of STEM education for students and schools.

The team is deeply passionate about children’s learning, fostering Australia’s future as a nation of builders, and delivering consistently excellent experiences for both children and parents.
